Modular commercial showroom

Eco-Designed Modular Container Showroom

For the opening of a new national equipment preparation center, WMH Project designed and built a modular commercial showroom set in the building's main hall. Built from reused shipping containers, the space combines demonstration, hospitality and a photo studio across two levels, with a strong CSR commitment.

Why put a showroom inside a technical center?

Opening an industrial site also means opening a place to demonstrate. The brief: imagine, develop, build and activate a commercial space in the main hall of a new national equipment preparation center. Four functions structure the project: create a "wow" effect on arrival, welcome (hospitality), demonstrate equipment and services (show-casing) and produce visuals (shooting).

How do you design a durable, modular space?

The approach relies on reused shipping containers, materials drawn from the sector's own logistics world. The build spans two levels:

The setup is modular and reconfigurable: uses can evolve without rebuilding the space.

Which uses for which audiences?

Four audiences guided the design: internal teams (pride and sales momentum), clients (equipment, expertise and services), developing prospects (an impactful, differentiating journey) and partners (proof of service quality). The ground floor hosts an exhibition zone with product spotlighting, a robot demonstration area and a projection room. The upper floor combines a 10-seat meeting room, a lounge and a panoramic terrace.

How do you build a photo studio into a showroom?

The showroom also serves as a content production tool. An aluminium lighting rig, TV screens and a shooting zone allow visuals to be produced on site, without an external studio. Exhibited equipment becomes an immediate staging subject.

How do you ensure teams take ownership?

The mission does not end at delivery: WMH Project supports the launch and trains teams to use the space. A dedicated naming gives the venue an identity and anchors its everyday use. The goal: a highly desirable, durable space, high-impact yet unostentatious.

What functions does the showroom combine?

Four: a striking arrival effect, hospitality, demonstration of equipment and services, and content production via an integrated photo studio.

Can the space evolve over time?

Yes. The setup is designed to be modular and reconfigurable: uses and layouts can change without rebuilding the whole structure.
